Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking the public’s assistance for information following a fatal crash which occurred in Wedge Island on Saturday 27 September 2025.
About 2.40pm, a white Suzuki Baleno hatchback travelling south and a white Isuzu D-Max utility travelling north, collided on Indian Ocean Drive.
The 46-year-old male driver of the Suzuki and a 47-year-old female passenger, both sustained critical injuries in the crash, and they died at the scene.
The 64-year-old female driver of the Isuzu and three passengers sustained minor injuries in the crash and were taken to the Joondalup Health Campus.
Major Crash investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or either the Suzuki Baleno or the Isuzu D-Max travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
