The Energy and Governance Legislation Reform project (also known as Project Eagle) has progressed in developing amendments to the State’s electricity regulatory framework.

The reforms are a critical enabler of the Energy Transformation Strategy Stage 2 and will create arrangements that promote the long-term interests of consumers and support system security and reliability.

An Information Paper updating stakeholders has been published. The information paper covers what's happened since the October 2022 public forum and the next steps for implementation. It's also a chance for Energy Policy WA to provide information about how feedback is addressed in the current scope of the legislation changes.
