Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating an incident that occurred in the Albany suburb of Centennial Park on Sunday 5 October 2025.
Shortly after midnight, two off-road motorcycles were travelling on Albany Highway, when one of the motorcycles left the road and struck a power pole near the intersection with Leslie Street.
The rider - a 29-year-old man – sustained critical head injuries and was conveyed to hospital, where he died sometime later.
The rider of the other motorcycle left the scene before police arrived.
