Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Canning Vale on Wednesday, 3 May 2026.
About 3.15pm, a grey Holden Astra hatchback travelling east on Boardman Road and an orange Ford Mustang coupe travelling north on Garden Street were involved in a collision.
The 32-year-old female driver of the Holden Astra and two passengers, a 4-year-old female and an 8-year-old male, were conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital for medical treatment.
The 4-year-old female passenger later died from her injuries.
The 29-year-old female driver of the Ford Mustang sustained minor injuries.
