Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Mandurah on Sunday, 18 January 2026.

About 10.15pm, a beige Chrysler 300 sedan and a grey Ford Falcon sedan collided at the intersection of Mandurah Road and Pinjarra Road. 

The 18-year-old female driver of the Chrysler was conveyed by St John WA paramedics to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries. 

A 16-year-old male passenger in the Chrysler was conveyed by St John WA paramedics to Peel Health Campus, where he later died.  

The 34-year-old male driver of the Ford was not injured.
