Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Mindarra, near Gingin, on Saturday 20 December 2025.
About 5.05pm, a white Holden Colorado utility travelling southbound on Bindoon-Moora Road towards Wannamal left the carriageway and collided with a tree.
Emergency services attended the scene.
The 22-year-old male passenger died from his injuries sustained at the scene.
The 25-year-old male driver of the vehicle was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment.
