Fatal Crash - Queens Park

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Queens Park on Monday, 7 September 2026.

About 8.50am, a white Volvo garbage truck and a pedestrian were involved in a collision along Balaka Way.

The victim – a 70-year-old male - was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he later died as a result of injuries sustained.

The 59-year-old male driver of the truck was uninjured.
