Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a crash that occurred in Welshpool on Friday, 29 May 2026.
About 10.45pm, a grey Hyundai i30 was travelling east along Orrong Road, near Kurnall Road, when the vehicle lost control and collided with a tree.
The 21-year-old male driver was sadly declared deceased at the scene.
The 20-year-old female passenger was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained.
