Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Wiluna on Thursday, 14 May 2026.

About 12.05pm, a black Toyota Hilux was travelling west on Goldfields Highway, when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll.

St John WA and Police attended the scene and paramedics commenced emergency first aid on a 5-month-old baby girl. Sadly, she could not be saved from critical injuries sustained in the crash. 

The 30-year-old female driver of the vehicle and three passengers—an 8-year-old boy, 10-year-old girl, and 51-year-old woman—sustained non life-threatening injuries. 

A 25-year-old male passenger was uninjured in the crash.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to report to Crime Stoppers via www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000. Reports can be made anonymously.
