Following a recent assessment, significant roof repairs are required to address leaks.
These essential works will take place over 22 weeks, beginning in August 2025 and are expected to be completed by December 2025.
Due to recent heavy rains, maintenance will now begin in the West Sanctuary to address more urgent repairs. Please see the updated dates below for more information. Please contact the administration office on 1300 793 109 if you have any queries.
To ensure safety and access:
- The West Sanctuary will be closed until November 2025.
- The East Sanctuary will then be closed from approximately mid November to December 2025.
One side of the mausoleum will remain open at all times.
These dates are an estimate and subject to external factors.
Please note:
- Interment services will continue throughout, where possible, with funeral directors ensuring respectful coordination.
- Access to the entrance display niches will mostly remain available, though may be restricted for 2–3 days during lighting upgrades.
- If you’re planning a visit for a special occasion or anniversary, we encourage you to call ahead on 1300 793 109 or visit the administration office to confirm access is available.
- Mausoleum Grant holders will be kept up to date via post.
