Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking the public’s assistance for information following a fatal crash that occurred in Gidgegannup during the early hours of Sunday, 10 May 2026.
About 2.15am, a black Toyota LandCruiser was travelling in a westerly direction on Lilydale Road when, near the intersection of Toodyay Road, the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 20s, sustained critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
Major Crash investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or who saw the black Toyota LandCruiser travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
