On Tuesday 26 May 2026, detectives from the Sex Assault Squad charged a 49-year-old doctor (general practitioner) with additional sexual offences.
In August 2025, the doctor was charged with three counts of ‘Unlawful and Indecent Assault’ involving two victims.
Following media reporting of the 2025 incident, police received a further report alleging a similar incident that occurred in 2024. As a result, the 49-year-old man from South Perth was charged with a further:
• Two counts of Unlawful and Indecent Assault
He is due to appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
