Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 48-year-old woman following an investigation into the death of a 24-year-old woman in Laverton on Wednesday, 1 April 2026.
About 11.40pm, police received a report of an unresponsive woman at a residence.
Police and St John WA attended, and emergency first aid was immediately conducted. The woman was conveyed to Laverton Hospital but sadly, was declared deceased after her arrival.
Both parties were known to each other.
A 48-year-old woman from Laverton has been charged with one count of ‘Murder’.
She is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday, 4 April 2026.
