Applications are now open for the Housing Innovation Fund Grant!

Funded by the $50 million Housing Innovation Fund, the $28 million competitive grant program provides grants of up to $5 million (with 50% co-contribution required) to support eligible WA businesses adopting prefabricated, modular and automated building technologies within the residential sector.

The initiative aims to cut build times, reduce costs, strengthen local manufacturing, and deliver more affordable, sustainable homes across metropolitan and regional WA.

WA’s residential construction sector continues to face pressures from labour shortages, rising costs, and material supply constraints.

By supporting large-scale, industry-shaping projects, the HIF aims to future-proof WA’s residential housing industry and deliver measurable improvements in housing supply and affordability across both metropolitan and regional areas.

Applications for the Housing Innovation Fund Grant closes Friday 19 December 2025 at midnight (AWST).

To learn more or apply now, visit the Housing Innovation Fund Grant webpage.

An online information session providing an overview of the Housing Innovation Fund, including objectives, eligibility criteria and application process, will be held on Thursday, 20 November between 11am to 12pm (AWST).
