A Biodiscovery Bill is being developed to ensure everyone will benefit from research conducted into Western Australia’s native plants and animals.

Last year, we consulted on the Bill and ran a series of workshops. Now we want to share what we learnt from you and what’s next.

There are 7 information sessions taking place in May across regional WA and Perth. These sessions will be led by will be led by Ms Roanna Edwards. Roanna is a Whadjuk and Ballardong Noongar woman, and a Director at Pricewaterhouse Coopers Indigenous Consulting, leading the firm's WA office. All stakeholders, including Aboriginal people and representative organisations, researchers and businesses are invited to participate. If you cannot attend any of these sessions you can join a virtual meeting or request a 1:1 meeting by getting in touch with us via email on biodiscovery@jtsi.wa.gov.au
