Seven WA-based health and medical life sciences companies will receive grant funding from the State Government to help gain internationally-recognised accreditations.

Under the Health and Medical Life Sciences (HMLS) round of the Local Capability Fund (LCF), the 7 companies will receive grants of $20,000, to be put toward gaining 2 accreditations with the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO).

The grants will support the recipient companies to become accredited in internationally recognised quality standards: the ISO 9001, which relates to quality management, and ISO 13485:2016, which is specific to the management of medical services.

These accreditations are often a key requirement for companies looking to supply products to markets in Australia and overseas.

The 7 successful applicants are:

  • 9bit concept Pty Ltd

  • Customa Pty Ltd

  • Inspiring Holdings Pty Ltd

  • Resonance Health Analysis Services Pty Ltd

  • St Francis Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd

  • TriPhasic Cardiac Pump Pty Ltd

  • VeinTech Pty Ltd

Funding in this industry-specific round of the LCF forms part of the WA Government’s $8.65 million commitment to deliver on actions outlined in its Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry strategy.
