Local Capability Fund Round launched for South West businesses

The Regional Business Engagement Forum in Bunbury today was the launchpad of a $100,000 Local Capability Fund (LCF) grant round, for businesses based in WA’s South West region.

This round will provide funding to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to enhance their capacity, capability and competitiveness. Funding up to a maximum of $20,000 is available per successful applicant.

To be eligible, your business must, at a minimum:

  • Have an Australian Business Number (ABN);
  • Be a for-profit organisation or business (with the exception of not-for-profit Aboriginal Corporations, who are also eligible);
  • Have its principal place of business reside in one of the Local Government Areas of the South West region;
  • Have been operating in the South West for at least 12 months, and continue to operate there for at least the next 12; and
  • Employ less than 200 people.

Businesses must register or log on via SmartyGrants in order to submit an application.

Applications close at 3pm AWST, 1 December 2023. Applicants will be notified directly as to whether they have been successful.
