Detectives from the Child Abuse Squad have charged a 39-year-old man following an investigation into an alleged sexual offence.
It is alleged that in early May 2025, the accused met a teenage girl through his employment as a delivery driver with a courier company servicing the areas of Beaconsfield, Hamilton Hill, Hilton, O’Connor, South Fremantle and White Gum Valley.
Upon meeting, he allegedly offered to provide her with transport if needed. It is further alleged that in late May 2025, while the victim was in the accused’s courier van, he sexually assaulted her without her consent.
The 39-year-old man from Mount Pleasant has been charged with:
• Aggravated Sexual Penetration Without Consent
He appeared before the Fremantle Magistrates Court on 28 May 2026 and is next due to appear on 19 June 2026.
