The Market Access Grant Scheme (MAGS) is back for its fourth round, with $100,000 in funding available to support eligible Western Australian (WA) based health and medical life science businesses attend major international conferences and industry events in 2026.

Eligible applicants can receive grants of up to $5,000, with successful applicants required to co-contribute at least 20 per cent of total travel costs.

Whether you're heading to BIO 2026 in California or another key event, MAGS helps local business showcase their breakthroughs on the world stage, build new partnerships and grow their market presence.

“It is well known that attending international conferences and industry events are one of the best ways to network, build new working relationships and get fresh eyes on local innovations," said Stephen Dawson, Minister for Science and Innovation and Medical Research.

Since its launch, MAGS has awarded $244,000 to 55 local businesses, helping to amplify WA’s reputation as a global hub for health and medical innovation.

This initiative is part of the WA Government’s Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry Strategy, which supports emerging and established businesses to diversify the economy and create local jobs. Funding is administered by the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification (DEED).
