The State Government is advancing Collie’s workforce transition with the launch of Collie Job Connect, a new website and app designed to help local people access jobs, training and career opportunities within the region.

The platform provides a simple and accessible way for job seekers, including those affected by industry change, to connect with local employers, with support provided by the Collie Jobs and Skills Centre.

As a central hub for employment and training information, the platform enables users to search for jobs, create resumes, receive tailored alerts, and explore new career pathways.

More than 40 local jobs across several different sectors, including industry, government, care and hospitality, are already listed. Local employers can also advertise vacancies, connect with local talent, and make use of streamlined recruitment tools.

The app complements the work of the Transition consultants based at the South Regional TAFE Collie campus and Career Advisors based at the Collie Jobs and Skills Centre.

Collie workers and employers are encouraged to download the app on Android or iOS, or register at www.colliejobs.wa.gov.au
