On 25 November 2020, the Hon. Dave Kelly, Minister for Innovation and ICT,  announced $100,000 co-contribution funding through the $16.7 million New Industries Fund, to Atomic Sky to deliver another round of their successful Quantum TX accelerator program.

Speaking at an industry event, the Minister acknowledged how WA Government, Federal Government and private sector support has put Western Australian businesses in a great position to capitalise on opportunities in the space sector, valued at US$350 billion worldwide.

Quantum TX  was initially funded a $100,000 co-contribution grant in 2019-20 through the X-TEND WA Round One program.

Quantum TX supports start-ups and SMEs to enter the space sector supply chain, and encourages technology exchange in other critical sectors such as oil and gas, mining, agriculture and defence.

This additional $100,000 in co-contribution funding will enable a second cohort of WA SME's to participate in the three month program scheduled to be run in early 2021.  For further information on the program and how to participate, visit the Quantum TX website.
