Gang Crime Squad detectives have charged two male members of the Outlaws OMCG (outlaw motorcycle gang) in relation to incidents that occurred in Gosnells on Sunday, 29 March 2026.
About 9pm, it will be alleged the men – aged 26 and 21-years-old – were involved in an altercation with a male victim – aged in his 30’s – inside a licensed premises on Corfield Street. Both men physically assaulted the victim, during which the victim was struck with a metal bar stool.
During the altercation, the 26-year-old man was allegedly wearing clothing identified as prohibited insignia.
Following the incident, it will be alleged the 26-year-old man drove away in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and deliberately struck the male victim, who was walking on the footpath on Corfield Street near the intersection of Verna Street. The driver allegedly fled the scene and made no attempt to stop or render assistance.
As a result of the collision, the victim struck into nearby fencing. He attended a nearby residence known to him, where emergency services were notified. He was subsequently conveyed by St. John WA to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Following inquiries, on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Ridge Way in Jurien Bay, where they located and seized the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The same day, the 21-year-old man was arrested at a residence on Kitson Place in Maddington.
On Wednesday, 22 April 2026, the 26-year-old man was arrested at a residence on Westbrook Street in Calista. A further search warrant was executed, during which police located and seized metal knuckle dusters.
A 26-year-old man from Kwinana has been charged with seven offences:
• 1 x Driver failed to stop and ensure assistance received after incident occasioning grievous bodily harm
• 1 x Driver fail to report an incident in which property was damaged
• 1 x Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm
• 1 x With intent to harm, did an act causing bodily harm
• 1 x Displayed insignia of an identified organisation in a public place
• 1 x Carried or possessed a prohibited weapon
• 1 x Fail to Obey Order Given by an Officer
He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on Thursday, 23 April 2026.
A 21-year-old man from Maddington has been charged with ‘Common Assault’ and ‘Fail to Obey Order Given by an Officer’.
He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on Friday, 8 May 2026.
