Multiple police resources – including specialist Regional Operations Group officers – attended the area and identified a group of approximately 150 juveniles in the street, fighting, shouting and refusing to leave the area. An out of control gathering was subsequently declared, and the crowd was issued with directions to disperse.
A 15 year old male was arrested and charged with one count of ‘Assault Public Officer’. He has been bailed and is next due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court on Friday, 6 March 2026.
A second 15 year old male was arrested for ‘Disorderly Behaviour in Public’. He was later released to a responsible adult and issued with a formal written caution.
Additional patrols were conducted throughout the surrounding streets to prevent further escalation, and the crowd was successfully dispersed with no serious injuries reported.
