The Overview of State Taxes and Royalties (OSTR) provides information on Western Australia's taxes, mineral and petroleum royalties including current rates, key exemptions and concessions, interstate comparisons, revenue collections, and historic information on changes to rates and bases.
The OSTR is prepared annually and provides information on State taxes and mineral and petroleum royalties, including comparisons of state taxes as they apply in the 2023-24 financial year. The 2023-24 edition of the OSTR includes key announcements made in the 2022-23 Mid-Year Reviews and 2023-24 Budgets of all states and territories.
