The first episode of the series, Axe Man, kicks off with a blood-curdling scream of sheer terror…a scream that has stayed with Senior Sergeant Scott Starkie ever since he first heard it captured on CCTV. The story features an intruder with an axe, a mysterious cloaked woman and a man driving a Holden Commodore, demonstrating how determination and exceptional detective work unravelled a web of lies to catch the offender.
Well-respected and accomplished journalist Sandra Di Girolamo returns as host of the series, which gives listeners access to police operational information never heard before.
