Four WA public sector staff have been awarded the Public Service Medal as part of the 2026 Australia Day Honours List.
The medal acknowledges their sustained excellence and dedication to service, a wonderful achievement!
Congratulations to:
- Wendy Casey PSM, Director Aboriginal Health Policy, Department of Health
- Lynette Harding PSM, Customer Service Officer, Western Australia Police Force
- Richard Sellers PSM, now retired, nominated while Director General, Department of the Premier and Cabinet
- Joann Wilkie PSM, Under Treasurer, Department of Treasury and Finance.
The medal is awarded twice a year by the Governor General – on Australia Day and the King’s Birthday – as part of the Australian system of honours and awards.
It recognises the exceptional service of people working at local, state and federal levels of government.
