On 2 February 2018, the then Minister for Energy declared Horizon Power's network in the North West Interconnected System (NWIS) a covered network under the Electricity Networks Access Code 2004 (Access Code), with effect from 1 January 2020.
The Minister for Energy intends to amend the Access Code to extend the coverage commencement date for Horizon Power's network from 1 January 2020 to 1 July 2020.
The Minister for Energy invites interested persons to make a written submission on the proposed amendment to the Access Code. Submissions must be provided to Energy Policy WA by 5:00pm (WST) on 11 December 2019. Electronic submissions are preferred and should be emailed to submissions@energy.wa.gov.au
