Hosted by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, the Bunbury Regional Business Engagement Forum is designed for WA small and medium enterprises operating in the South West. Businesses will hear from JTSI and the Department of Training and Workforce Development about Government grant funding, trainee and apprenticeship initiatives, support opportunities and networks in the region, and upcoming work and contracts.

The forum also provides an opportunity for local business to have their say on regional issues impacting business, plus network with procurement officers from Government and meet local content advisers and industry groups who link local business with relevant support and work.

The forum will be held in Bunbury on Tuesday 20 September at the Quality Hotel Lighthouse from 5pm to 7pm. Click the link to register to attend!

Topics for this forum will include:

  • The launch of a specific South West round of the Local Capability Fund for small and medium enterprises in the South West
  • An overview of the WA labour market and exploring financial incentives for employing apprentices and trainees
  • A multiagency overview of Government contract opportunities and work packages expected in the South West over the next 12-24 months
