The discussion paper explains the matters under review, and sets out the relevant background, preliminary findings and consultation questions to help stakeholders provide informed feedback.

  • Part A concerns the review of Rule C4 of the Western Australian Procurement Rules, which prescribes approach to market thresholds for goods, services and works procured by State agencies.
  • Part B concerns the statutory review of the Procurement Act 2020. Consistent with the terms of that review, this part of the paper focuses on the operation and effectiveness of the Act itself.

Stakeholders may respond to one or both parts of this paper, depending on their interest and experience.

Discussion paper and feedback templates are available on the Procurement Act 2020 Review Feedback page.
