Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious collision which occurred in Fremantle on Sunday 17 May 2026.
About 8.40pm, a white Toyota Camry sedan and a white Ford Ranger utility were involved in a collision at the intersection of Carrington Street and Marmion Street.
A 24-year-old male passenger in the Toyota Camry received serious injuries and was conveyed to Fiona Stanley Hospital. The drivers of both vehicles were assessed at the scene, however, did not require medical treatment.
A 36-year-old man from Attadale, the driver of the Ford Ranger, has been charged with ‘Exceed 0.08g alcohol per 100ml of blood’ and is due to appear before Fremantle Magistrates Court on 3 July 2026.
