Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Glen Forrest on Friday, 4 September 2026.

About 1.55pm, a white BMW motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Great Eastern Highway when a white Volkswagen Caddy, also travelling eastbound, moved into its path, causing the rider to lose control and crash.

The 75-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of serious injuries received. The 40-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen was not injured.
