Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Squad are seeking the public’s assistance for information following a serious crash that occurred in Innaloo on Saturday, 23 May 2026.

About 1.15pm, a blue Kia Rio hatchback struck a pedestrian on Ellen Stirling Boulevard near Oswald Street.

The pedestrian, an 81-year-old woman, was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the Kia, a 39-year-old woman, stopped at the scene and is assisting police with inquiries.

Major Crash investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and urge anyone who witnessed the incident to report information to Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
