Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking public assistance as they investigate a crash which occurred in Wanneroo on Sunday 4 October 2026.

About 12.35pm, a white Ford Everest and a silver Mercedes Benz station sedan were involved in a collision on Franklin Road.

The male driver of the white Ford Everest was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The male driver of the Mercedes Benz was conveyed to Joondalup Health Campus with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Inquiries remain ongoing.

Police are investigating reports the white Ford Everest was displaying red and blue emergency lights and had an active siren at the time of the crash; however, it is not an authorised emergency services vehicle.
