JTSI participated in the successful Showcase WA event at Parliament House last week.

A number of WA industries made the trip to Canberra to showcase their products and services, with Australia’s Federal Government and an estimated 1,000 distinguished Ministers, Shadow Ministers and the Diplomatic Corps in attendance.

JTSI's stand showcased the diverse range of WA industries from renewable energy, innovative technology and science to unique local produce, visitor destinations and quality education. 

Decarbonisation and diversifying the economy took centre stage, as the WA Government outlined its priorities and opportunities for attracting further investment in a broad range of industries and driving long-term economic development.

With abundant natural resources, innovative technologies, sophisticated industrial ecosystems, skilled workers and significant existing infrastructure, Western Australia is well positioned to transition to a greener future economy and to provide essential jobs and business opportunities.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton, Minister Reece Whitby and Deputy Director General Simone Spencer echoed these messages as they addressed the crowd.
