Last week, the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation took part in the Indigenous Emerging Business Forum (IEBF) for the first time.

The IEBF encourages and assists employment and business opportunities for First Nations peoples.

JTSI hosted a booth at the event engaging with attendees from across a range of industries.

The team highlighted opportunities such as the Local Capability Fund (LCF) and involvement at the Aboriginal Business Pavillion at AOG Energy 2024.

The Local Capability Fund, provides Western Australian businesses, with funding support to enhance their capacity, capability and competitiveness as suppliers of products, services and works.

The Aboriginal Business Pavilion will provide an opportunity for Indigenous companies to showcase their products, technologies, innovations and services to the domestic and international energy supply chain.

Expressions of interest are open to Aboriginal Businesses currently engaged, and those with the capability to engage with the energy supply chain both domestically and internationally.
