Detectives from Drug and Firearm Squad have charged two men following the seizure of more than 80 kilograms of illicit drugs in January 2026.
It will be alleged:
On Tuesday 13 January, two men – aged 20 and 26 – were involved in the supply and exchange of illicit drugs.
About 8.15pm, police conducted a traffic stop on Forrest Highway in West Pinjarra on a silver Mazda 3 sedan driven by the 26-year-old man. A search of the vehicle was conducted, during which police located a package containing approximately one kilogram of cocaine.
The 26-year-old man collected the package an hour earlier from a park in Piara Waters, where it had been deposited by the 20-year-old man.
Following inquiries, the 20-year-old man was tracked by police and apprehended in Balcatta. A search of his person and vehicle located approximately three kilograms of methylamphetamine.
Detectives later executed a search warrant at a residence on Cabramatta Street in Bayswater and seized more than 50 kilograms of methylamphetamine, 20 kilograms of cocaine and two kilograms of heroin.
On Wednesday 14 January 2026, a second search warrant was executed at a residence on Laurent Way in Dalyellup, where detectives located a further quantity of cocaine, methylamphetamine and unlawfully possessed prescription drugs.
In total detectives seized approximately:
• 57 kilograms of Methylamphetamine
• 23 kilograms of Cocaine
• 2.5 kilograms of Heroin
A 20-year-old man from Victoria has been charged with:
• 3 x Possessed a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply it to another
• 1 x Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply (Cocaine)
• 1 x Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply (Heroin)
• 1 x Supplied a Prohibited Drug (Cocaine)
A 26-year-old man from Dalyellup has been charged with:
• 1 x Possession of Prohibited Drugs with Intent to Sell or Supply (Cocaine)
• 1 x Possess a Prohibited Drug (Methylamphetamine)
• 1 x Possessed a prohibited drug (Cocaine)
• 1 x Unlawfully possessed a Controlled or Prescription drug
Both men are next due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
