Listen to the second episode from our new Voices of the Archives series in which Dr Tiffany Shellam discusses the work of the team behind The Collective Nyungar Heritage of an “Orphan Letter”, published by the Johns Hopkins University Press in the Journal of Colonialism and Colonial History. The State Records Office thanks Darryl Kickett and Anna Haebich for their guidance and contributions to this episode, produced by Sarah Tout.

Dr Shellam was the winner of the 2020 Margaret Medcalf Award, which recognises excellence in referencing and research in the use of State archives and honours Ms Margaret Medcalf OAM, Western Australia’s second State Archivist (1971 to 1989).
