Today the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) officially welcomes new roles and functions to our team: the Office of Defence Industries, the Office of the Coordinator General and the Office of Early Childhood.
These additions are an exciting opportunity for DPC in our role as a central agency providing advice and support to the Premier and Cabinet on initiatives that support the Western Australian community.
This is a part of a refreshed structure for the WA public sector, with 10 reshaped departments established. A list of Departments, Responsible Ministers and Portfolios and Key Entities of the Western Australian Government can also be found at WA.gov.au.
We’re glad to have our new colleagues with us and look forward to seeing what we achieve together with our incoming Director General, Michael Carey who starts on 4 August.
