Fishing for West Coast demersal scalefish species reopens tomorrow for the school holidays.
Boat-based rec fishing for demersal fish between Kalbarri and Augusta will be permitted from 23 September until 8 October (inclusive). Pink snapper fishing in Cockburn and Warnbro Sounds remains closed until 31 January 2024 to provide targeted protection in key spawning areas for their full breeding season.

After you’ve caught a feed, send us your skeletons so we can work together to better understand the biology of these species and how this changes over time! By donating, you’ll go in the draw to win some great prizes.
