Since this web page was published, the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) Rules have been renamed the Electricity System and Market (ESM) Rules, and the Electricity Industry (Wholesale Electricity Market) Regulations 2004 (WEM Regulations) have been renamed the Electricity Industry (Electricity System and Market) Regulations 2004 (ESM Regulations). Changes have not been made to this web page to reflect this updated name.
This group was nominated by MAC at its meeting on 12 September 2007. The Working Group’s scope of work included consideration and assessment of the definitions and treatment of Non-Temperature Dependent Loads (NTDLs) in the Reserve Capacity Mechanism, and the development of any necessary changes to the WEM Rules. The Working Group delivered its report in the form of a rule change discussion paper at the MAC meeting on 14 December 2007.
