Yindjibarndi Energy Corporation has applied for an electricity retail licence exemption to sell electricity generated from Project Jinbi, a future solar farm in the Pilbara that is to connect into the North West Interconnected System.
The public consultation period for the application closed on 21 October 2025.
One submission was received from Horizon Power and is published below.
The Governor of Western Australia granted an electricity distribution licence exemption to Project Jinbi. The exemption can be found in the Electricity Industry Exemption Order 2005.
