Condolences for the family of Bev Gallop

Premier Colin Barnett has offered condolences to family and friends of Bev Gallop who passed away yesterday.

Mr Barnett said Mrs Gallop had been a key figure in Western Australia with her support of her husband, former Premier Geoff Gallop, and her accomplishments as a ceramist and lecturer at Edith Cowan University.

"Bev was a well-liked figure in Western Australia and an exceptional woman with diverse skills. She made an important contribution to this State in a variety of areas," the Premier said.

"On behalf of the Western Australia Government and people in WA, I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to all of her family and loved ones."
