Planning Minister John Day today announced another opportunity for developers to be a part of the Perry Lakes development at Floreat.

Mr Day said the State Government, through LandCorp, was calling for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from private developers for three sites released in Stage 2B.

"The sites on offer provide an exclusive opportunity for developers to be involved in one of Perth's most exciting residential land developments," he said.

"Ideally situated between the beach and the CBD, the lots will provide between four to seven dwellings each and are expected to be developed as townhouses, with a capacity to be built up to three levels."

Featuring open spaces inspired by the 1960s, the modern design of the development integrates indoor and outdoor areas to provide a natural and spacious environment.

The Minister said design guidelines had been created to ensure a high standard of homes in the estate.

"This redevelopment embraces the strong historical value and the beauty of Perry Lakes Reserve," he said.

"Interested developers can submit RFPs to purchase lots from today until October 23."

RFPs may be lodged on a single lot or any combination of lots.  Following the closing date, submissions will be evaluated and preferred proponents will be selected for each lot.  A number of lots are still available for purchase in Stage 2A.
