5 new members appointed to the board
New chairman elected
Regional Development Minister Brendon Grylls today announced five appointments to the board of the Kimberley Development Commission.
Mr Grylls said five new members had been appointed for terms of three years - Cr Sciona Browne, Cr Eunice Yu, Doreen Green, Robert Boshammer and Robert Banfield.
"The appointments will add strength and diversity to the board at an important time for the Kimberley region. I look forward to their proactive approach and commitment to the role the commission plays," he said.
The Minister also announced the appointment of Cr Ralph Addis to the position of chairman and commended the previous chairman, Professor Patrick Dodson, for his strong leadership and direction of the board.
Mr Grylls commended and thanked retiring board members Tom Vinnicombe and Michael Caplehorn for their significant contribution to the board.
The Minister also formalised the appointment of Cr Browne, president of the Shire of Halls Creek, as deputy chairman.
