Mandurah Junction to showcase new standards
Estate's first release offers house and land packages starting from $272,500
In addition, up to $43,000 rebates available to eligible purchasers
Ready access to public transport, amenities and affordable living options
The State Government today announced the release of 41 house and land packages at LandCorp's new Mandurah Junction development, the first to go to market in this highly anticipated estate.
Lands Minister Brendon Grylls said the new releases would appeal to owner-occupiers and in particular first home buyers, with generous rebates available on top of an already competitive pricing structure.
"Mandurah Junction offers a range of exciting two-three bedroom quality house and land packages starting from $272,500," Mr Grylls said.
"With a $36,000 rebate available to eligible purchasers through the Federal Government's Housing Affordability Fund, and first time buyers also entitled to the $7,000 first home owners grant, this first stage of the estate is helping deliver greater affordable living choices."
LandCorp has been working with two Western Australian building companies, Nicheliving and Impressions The Home Builders, to deliver the estate's first house and land packages.
Additional ongoing household savings are also offered through home-installed solar hot water systems and close proximity to public transport.
Mandurah Junction is a recognised activity centre under the State Government's Directions 2031 planning strategy. The project has been master-planned to create an exciting residential estate that brings parklands and activities closer to home while capitalising on its location next to the city's train and bus station.
The estate features extensive public open space, with many trees, shade structures and public art plus pathways for pedestrians and cyclists, linking the estate and its surrounds.
Civil works have begun and are expected to be finalised by late 2012 with the first homes completed in 2013.
