Year seven students wanting to attend the $21million Cape Naturaliste College next year are being called to apply now.
Education and Training and South-West Minister Mark McGowan said work was well underway on the new multi-million dollar secondary school.
"Enrolment packages are being sent to parents of children wanting to attend year 8 at the school next year," Mr McGowan said.
"Principal Mark Gillett has met with parents of local primary school children to explain how the new college will operate.
"By 2010, the middle school college will cater for students from Years 8 to 10 from West Busselton, Dunsborough and Vasse."
The new school can cater for up to 500 students and will include two multi-functional classroom areas that are open plan and can each hold up to 240 students.
It will also include a specialist art, design and technology, and food studio.

The Minister said a committee of parents and community members was currently working to develop the school's crest and uniform.
"Principal Gillett and Registrar Maryanne Thumwood, who were appointed earlier this year, are working to ensure a smooth transition for staff and students starting at the school in 2008," he said.
Cape Naturaliste College is located on more than eight hectares at Yallingup Siding Road in Vasse.
The $21million College is part of the State Government's $1billion election commitment to build new schools, upgrade existing schools and clear the backlog of repairs.
Mr McGowan said $90million would be spent on upgrading and building schools in the South-West region, including $25million for Dalyellup Secondary School.
"We have already built, planned or announced 38 new schools; 26 new primary schools and 12 new secondary schools," he said.
