A free pass to adventures for WA foster and family carers
- Cook Government marks Foster and Family Carers Week by celebrating carers with a Foster and Family Carers Adventure Pass
- Pass unlocks free entry to the State's most loved attractions including Perth Zoo, all WA Museums and WA national parks, along with discounts on special exhibitions and Rottnest Island ferry travel
- Bundle could save eligible households more than $300 in ticket prices
- Foster and Family Carers Week (April 6-12) marks commitment to building safe and inclusive communities
Foster and family carer households are set to enjoy some unforgettable adventures during the April school holidays and beyond thanks to the Cook Government, with free entry and discounts to some of Western Australia's most loved attractions.
As part of WA Foster and Family Carers Week (6-12 April 2026), eligible households will receive a Foster and Family Carers Adventure Pass which includes:
- a family day out at Perth Zoo;
- a 12-month WA Museum Super Fan membership with unlimited entry to WA Museum Boola Bardip, the WA Maritime Museum, and Gwoonwardu Mia Gascoyne Aboriginal Heritage and Cultural Centre;
- an Annual All Parks Pass to explore more than 30 world-class national parks across Western Australia; and
- 20 per cent off Rottnest Express ferry travel to and from Rottnest Island until September 2026.
The pass could save eligible families more than $300 on ticket prices, making it easier for carers and the children in their care to get out, explore, and create lasting memories across WA.
This year's WA Foster and Family Carers Week will run from 6 to 12 April 2026 and is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the enormous contribution that foster and family carers make to the lives of children and young people across the State.
