New CEO appointed to Insurance Commission of Western Australia
- Helen Robinson appointed chief executive officer of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia

Treasurer Rita Saffioti has today announced the appointment of Helen Robinson as chief executive officer of the Insurance Commission of Western Australia (ICWA) for a five-year term.
Since joining ICWA as chief operating officer in July 2024, Ms Robinson has played a key role in shaping the organisation's strategic direction.
She has extensive executive experience across government and non-government organisations, with a strong track record of strategic and operational leadership.
Ms Robinson previously held a range of senior leadership roles in finance and general management, including with Serco, St John of God Health Care, Synergy and Western Power.
Ms Robinson has been acting CEO of ICWA since July 2025, following the retirement of Rod Whithear who served in the role for 13 years.
The Insurance Commission is a Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to more than 2.2 million drivers and 3.4 million vehicles in WA, as well as self-insurance for nearly 150,000 government employees and $87 billion of government assets.
