  • Twenty-five communities awarded grants through Synergy's 2026 Community Giving Fund
  • Grants of up to $10,000 support community-led projects addressing local needs
  • Part of the Cook Labor Government's work to build safer, stronger communities

A record 25 community organisations across metropolitan and regional Western Australia will receive grants of up to $10,000 as part of Synergy's 2026 Community Giving Fund.

The grants support community initiatives across the area where Synergy operates, including the Mid West, Goldfields-Esperance, South West, Peel and Perth regions.

The successful projects are supporting community programs ranging from mental health and wellbeing, support for vulnerable families and young people, disability and LGBTQIA+ inclusion, Aboriginal engagement, emergency preparedness, environmental conservation and community connection.

In addition to grant funding, several community organisations will receive refurbished laptops which they identified as necessary to support the delivery of community programs and services.

These additional donations have enabled Synergy to support a record number of organisations through this year's Community Giving Fund, while extending the life of technology and reducing electronic waste.

Since launching in 2022, Synergy's Community Giving Fund has supported not-for-profit organisations, registered charities and social enterprises delivering projects that create lasting social and environmental benefits in communities where Synergy operates.
