Regional Western Australia will benefit from a diverse program of live performing arts experiences, with ten projects supported through the Cook Government's Regional Performing Arts program (RPA).
Delivered under the Regional Arts and Cultural Investment Program, the RPA helps support the creation and presentation of performance-based works that connect regional communities with high-quality arts and cultural experiences.
Ten projects will share in $1,272,028 in funding, supporting the development of two new WA-made works and eight touring performances across regional towns and communities.
The program supports organisations through two categories:
The funded projects will deliver theatre, music, dance and puppetry to regional audiences, with tours and activities taking place throughout 2026 and 2027, supporting local engagement, skills development and regional economies.
